Well since Shane was absent this week I will have to reflect on what I have been working on pertaining to the experience. I have been working on a program that was previously worked on by a former student by the name Payton Beigler. It was kind of nice to have a format to start off of mainly because it was hard to grasp what I was doing at first. Anyway, the program being used for this program is AutoIt and it is used as a basic programming application. The program of interest happened to be a file-copier in which would be used to copy files for a back-up before a format of the hard drive. This could be very useful at times because it can save you time and it can really help and make sure you know that the transfer was done correctly and successfully. I really like using this application because it will help me learn how to learn how to program some things on my own. I am still working on this as I type this journal because I would like to make up for lost time during this week. I do not have a picture of my atmosphere mainly because I haven't been there all week. I can add a photo later on when I go back next week but for right now it is absent :(. Anyway the only thing that I would change about the atmosphere at In-Home Computer Care is the size of the work-space. It is a tiny office and there is a nice organized shelf and tool rack but it just seems a little small for a repair business. I feel as if it ever got busy that things would be flying all over the place and some of those parts/things would end up missing and complicate the whole process. So all in all I feel like the work-space should be a tad bit bigger just for organizational purposes. |

I'm excited to hear about your new program and ways you're using it. :) Love the screenshot, too. Thanks for being adaptable when Shane has been unavailable.
