So this week Shane had me working a lot on my program while other computers were going through scans and updates. We made a decent amount of progress in terms of layout cleanup and some features that just simply make the program better. I really find it hard to grasp some of this advanced coding only because it can get confusing at times. I would like to focus on this a lot more just so I can get a good understanding on how most functions work and what I can do to create a simplistic program of mine. It's also one of my intentions to work on some computers in terms of repairs but I would just rather than just coding. I wish to also build upon my weaknesses during this experience that I can take and use with me in the future. My Genius Hour goal is coming along at a nice pace. To recap I chose the have 5 different repairs done by the end of the trimester. I have not completed my goal yet but I have done 2 different repairs in terms of Software related issues. One included backing up a hard-drive and reinstalling the computers default state so we could get rid of all of the bad infections. Another included replacing the hard drive in a notebook and reinstalling all of its drivers so it would work properly. After looking at my evaluation sheet I have realized that my strongest point is seeking assistance when its needed. My weaknesses include points along the line of working independently. I will try to build upon working independently but I need a better understanding of what im going into every day and I can go straight from the there successfully. |

Did you create your list yet? You definitely shocked me last week with your culinary dreams. I am so excited that you have, possibly, found your passion though. That's a huge step. Let me know what you come up with for placements.
